Staying here was a dream come true! The views of the ocean were breathtaking, and the friendly staff catered to our every need. The breakfast buffet was vast and delicious. We enjoyed the well-maintained gym and the relaxing pool area. This luxury gem is a perfect getaway for families and couples alike!

Deluxe room was super comfy with a giant bed! They brought a cozy fold-up bed for our son. Yummy complimentary sweets to nibble on. Best breakfast buffets ever, it was a real treat!

Windows didn't open, I felt like I was in a posh submarine! The grill restaurant was so cold I considered wearing my winter coat indoors!

I had a great 2-night stay at this amazing hotel! The buffet meals were absolutely impressive, especially the breakfast where I indulged in a vast selection of dishes. My room was incredibly comfortable, with a special touch of complimentary sweets that made our arrival even sweeter. I can't wait to go back!

we had an amazing stay at shangri-la. the location was super central, making it easy to explore nearby dining options. the staff was extremely friendly, and the spa was a perfect touch for relaxation, drawing inspiration from the legendary shangri-la.

My wife and I enjoyed our first stay here, especially the delicious breakfast and the lovely dinner at the Capitol Grill while enjoying the fantastic jazz band. We had a great time relaxing at the indoor swimming pool and indulging in soothing massages at the spa. The only downside was that the dining options for kids were a bit limited, but overall, it was an amazing experience! 😊

This hotel has a prime location near Beira Lake, ideal for evening strolls with the family. We loved the spacious Deluxe Lake View King room and thoroughly enjoyed the magnificent views. Every staff member was attentive, and the breakfast spread was exceptional.

My kids wished there were more family-friendly activities available in the hotel.

During my five-night stay, I loved being just a 10-minute walk from both Galle Face Green and the stunning Viharamahadevi Park, which made my city strolls a breeze, and the food at the hotel was fantastic with a big variety of mainly Asian cuisine at breakfast that gave me plenty of energy for exploring.

The food was fantastic. The spa? A couples massage that was better than I could’ve anticipated.

It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly but still acceptable.

I was truly impressed by the hotel’s magnificent decoration and luxurious ambiance, which made every corner feel inviting and comfortable. The lobby, especially, with its stunning chandelier, was a perfect welcoming area that is also easily accessible for seniors.

More vegan dining options would be appreciated.

Stunning views and exceptional breakfast

I recently enjoyed a delightful stay at a luxurious hotel in Colombo. The breakfast spread was incredible, featuring freshly baked croissants and a lovely selection of organic juices. Additionally, the room had a fantastic view of the ocean, which made every moment magical. However, I did notice that more vegan dining options would enhance the dining experience.

The room was nice overall, but there were no mirrors, which was a hassle. The half mirror in the bathroom just didn't cut it, especially for makeup. Also, I struggled with the air conditioner—I was cold the whole time! It had a great balcony and the view was decent though. Just needed a few more comforts.

The Premier Balcony Room King offered excellent ocean views, creating a perfect backdrop for our stay. Dining options were vast, with highlights including the delectable fish dishes and a delightful breakfast bar serving great coffee. The location was conveniently central, providing easy access to the adjacent shopping mall. While the bath facilities could use a touch-up and the pool had limited seating, these did not overshadow the overall experience.
